Karate
Karate has become my true passion, and I am grateful to have found a sport that is so disciplined and organized like me. When I started out, I had tried out a variety of sports, but karate just felt right. I currently attend the SHOSHIN Karate club, which is part of the JKS Scotland - Japan Karate Shoto Federation, where I practice Shotokan style.
Karate has not only improved my physical strength but it has also taught me valuable life skills such as discipline, focus, and respect. I have been fortunate enough to compete in various karate competitions, winning 18 medals. Since 2023, I have been training with the The Scotland National Para Kata Team.
As an athlete, I am always looking for ways to improve and continue learning new techniques to enhance my performance. Becoming a sensei is something I see in my future, as I believe I have the skills and passion needed to inspire and coach future generations of karate.
